Golf

Did you know that although it is believed that golf started in Scotland in the 1100's, the United States of America has half of all the golf courses in the world?  It's true.  Now, I'm sure that we don't even have half of them listed on SportLodging.com yet, but with your help we can.  Let me know of your favorites and we will add them.  You can find golf courses and pro shops and other retailers along with lodging, food and entertainment on this site.  But if you want to throw in a day fishing or river rafting, or maybe rent a jeep and go four wheeling, it's here to. The average golfer is male and takes at least one "guy trip" to golf with his pals.  Not to say that women don't go on golf outings but statistically, women prefer one or two golf days with shopping or perhaps a health spa thrown in.  Guy trips for golf tend to be longer in duration while playing as many different golf courses as possible.  However, many want to break up the week with some other sporting activity.  You can use SportLodging.com to search for other sports in the area.  If you are golfing in the Florida Keys and want to go scuba diving or deep sea fishing, you only need one site, SportLodging.com.  We are building it up, adding more and more golfing and other venues.  Let me know what we can do to make it better for you.
