Massachusetts Off road Riding Areas and ATV Trails
Massachusetts is located in the North Eastern side of the United States and is famous for the intellectual group of writers it had in the 19th century. It is also famous for its cranberry production and expanding commercial fishing, shipping and manufacturing industries. This state also offers few ATV trails for the adventurous and thrill seekers.
The famous trails are Flat Rock Hill trail or better known as Ice Cream Trail, as it’s been a sort of tradition here to stop and have an ice cream. The trail runs 2 and half mile long to the State Forest .You can also find several wooded trails, spectacular view, ponds and falls that you won’t want to miss.
The Western Massachusetts has trails in the Savoy Mountain State forest (Florida, Savoy, North Adams) it is 32 miles of old logging trails ideal for ATV and motorcycles .Then there is Pittsfield State Forest (Hancock, Pittsfield) which offers 45 miles of trails.
This trail is located along the Massachusetts and New York border. October Mountain State Forest (Lee, Lenox, Becket, Washington) also has 30 miles of Trail stretch. The trails in Beartown State Forest (Lee, Great Barrington, and Monterey) are not to be forgotten amongst all these trails. This trail offers lots of tight twists and turns and short steep ups and down.
